When I was younger the last place I pictured myself was in any type of a sales career. Being forward and pushy and talking all the time... no thanks! Then, when I completed my University Degree (in Political Science) I began selling real estate and all of my preconceptions about what it took to be a successful salesperson were wrong. It's honesty, integrity and doing what you promise to do that bring success. And with sales in particular, it takes a great listener!

About KimKim started her career in the banking industry. 22 years ago she decided to switch careers and move into Real Estate. After completing her real estate license, she joined her sister/business partner Jody Saarela at RE/MAX real estate central alberta in Rocky Mountain House. She says this was the best decision she ever made. She finds real estate to be very fulfilling, with opportunities to meet a lot of great new people who often turn from clients to friends.
Born and raised in Clearwater County, Kim lives on a quarter in the Leslieville area where she has raised her 2 children and enjoys all that country life has to offer. Small town living has given her a real sense of community and she considers it a privilege to be able to work directly with so many different people in her own community. Her kids often tease her about knowing everyone - every time they stop someplace, Kim has to pause for a friendly chat with someone.
Kim sees the importance of constantly continuing her education in the real estate industry and challenged herself to successfully complete the Real Estate Brokers Course which gives her further insight into the rules and regulations that govern the industry, and a better ability to do the best job possible for clients.
